Pixar Artist Visit

On June 25th the Child Life Department celebrated the premiere and exclusive screening of the movie Elio where Eight Pixar Artists attended the event. The art therapy program invited one of the Pixar artists to join a special Elio inspired art therapy group.

Art Group Patients took off on a creative “mission” led by art therapists Shalene Hatton LMFT, ATR , Sumana Dugar LPCC Trainee, and Cassandra Lacroix Fellow, AMFT, ATR-P. Cody, our visiting Pixar artist sparked everyone's imagination and inspired the patients to get in touch with their creative spirits. Soon colorful drawings of alien and planets filled the room.

The BCH Creative Arts Studio buzzed with awe and excitement as the young artists learned what it’s like to work on their favorite movies. But that’s not all… each patient received a Pixar character sketch, personally signed by Cody! This was truly a magical day that the patients will never forget!
